Primer published a retrieval evaluation of company root, the company based file layout it ships with its research agent, tested against three other layouts and two tool setups over 480 attempts by GPT-6 Sol. With enhanced search, company root surfaced all the required evidence in 60 of 60 attempts at about 9.3 US cents and 41 seconds each, and complete retrieval across all layouts rose from 85.4% with base tools to 97.1% with enhanced tools.
Our readResearch teams get a disclosed method plus cost and time figures for how the agent finds evidence in a firm's own archive. Primer states the limits plainly: the result shows the evidence reached the agent, not that its sixty answers were correct.
