Keylane launched Keylane Automate, a platform where insurers and pension funds build their own AI agents and workflows for claims, underwriting, member communications and case handling in a no code environment. Customers choose the AI models they deploy and can use prebuilt agents or build their own with a developer SDK. Keylane says higher risk decisions go through human review, every decision is auditable by the customer, and data is hosted on European infrastructure.
Our readInsurers and pension funds running Keylane's core systems can put AI agents directly on governed policy, claims and member data instead of building separate integrations. The audit trail and human review bear on the EU AI Act's high risk rules for life and health insurance pricing and risk assessment, which the Digital Omnibus deferred to 2 December 2027, so buyers have time to test those controls before they become binding.
