BlueFlame AI vs Endex (2026)

Last VerifiedNovember 4, 2026
Verdict

The decision is where a deal team wants its agent to start, in the firm's deal data and data rooms or in the Office files the team already keeps. BlueFlame AI starts with the deal. Its agent, Amp, screens CIMs, reviews data rooms, drafts investment committee memos and builds buyer lists. Datasite has owned it since 2025, so it works inside Datasite data rooms and, since October 2026, inside Grata Intelligence with Grata's private company data. Endex starts with the file. A banker or associate assigns work by email, Teams or Slack, and its agents make the change in the firm's own Excel models, Word memos and PowerPoint decks. Both reach Excel, so the overlap is real at the model and the memo. They part on data handling. Endex lists zero data retention at all three of its model providers. BlueFlame rules out training on client data on its security page, yet its privacy policy keeps an option to train its own models on user content. Neither publishes a price. Pick BlueFlame when the hours go into sourcing, screening and diligence. Pick Endex when they go into building and refreshing the deliverables themselves.

Select BlueFlame AI if
  • The work starts in the data room. BlueFlame's assistant runs inside Datasite Diligence and Acquire projects for their administrators, searching documents, drafting Q&A answers and flagging risks under the project's existing permissions.
  • Sourcing feeds your pipeline. Inside Grata Intelligence, BlueFlame draws on Grata's private company data to build target lists, screen inbound deals against a fund's criteria and validate buyer lists for a sell side process.
  • Recurring deal tasks should follow house style. More than 40 prebuilt finance skills come with BlueFlame, and a firm can write its own skills around its templates, investment criteria and review steps.
  • Your model risk team wants the chain on paper. BlueFlame publishes twelve subprocessors with region and purpose, model providers such as OpenAI and Anthropic among them.
  • Data may need to stay in a region. BlueFlame offers data residency options to firms that need them, and most of its subprocessors operate in both US and EU regions.
Select Endex if
  • The deliverable is the job. Endex agents make the change in the firm's own Excel, Word or PowerPoint file rather than in a separate tool of their own.
  • Teams and Slack are where work gets handed out. Endex takes tasks in a Teams or Slack channel as well as by email, and a web workspace lists every agent to assign, track and review.
  • Your policy bars any model from learning on deal files. Endex says customer data trains no model by default, and OpenAI, Anthropic and Google Gemini each run under zero data retention.
  • Security review wants certificates on file. Endex names SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001:2022, and its trust center holds the reports and the statement of applicability for an access request.
  • Your models lean on filings and registries. Endex connectors reach Morningstar, SEC filings and registries such as Companies House and SEDAR+, beside FactSet and Capital IQ.

In Summary

The short version of each

BlueFlame AI

BlueFlame AI, a Datasite company since 2025, sells an AI agent called Amp to private equity firms, investment banks, private credit lenders and corporate development teams. Amp takes a multi step deal task and works it through, from screening a CIM and reviewing a data room to drafting an investment committee memo or building a buyer list. Analysts and associates reach it in the web app, by email from Outlook, in an Excel add in or inside Datasite data rooms. Since October 2026 it also runs inside Grata Intelligence, beside Grata's private company data. It runs on multi zone AWS with each client isolated, claims SOC 2 Type II and publishes a subprocessor list naming its model providers. The caveats are proof and policy. Cinctive Capital, the one named client with a figure, reports a several hundred page document analyzed in under an hour, with no baseline. No price is published, and the privacy policy keeps an option to train BlueFlame's own models on user content.

Endex

Endex, the trading name of Edvise, Inc., runs AI agents that do a finance team's Office work, building models in Excel, memos in Word and decks in PowerPoint. Private equity firms, investment banks and corporate finance teams are the core buyers. Sixteen firms are shown as deployments, The Raine Group and RXR among them. Their profiles run from private equity in London and Boston to real estate in New York and accounting in Chicago. Work arrives by email or in a Teams or Slack channel. Word drafts trace each claim to a source, and audit logs track every interaction. Its data terms are specific. Customer data trains no model by default, and OpenAI, Anthropic and Google Gemini each run under zero data retention. What Endex leaves open is the gate and the price. Nothing describes a sign off before an agent changes a live file, and no rate is published.

Buyer Questions

Common questions

BlueFlame AI or Endex for a private equity deal team?

It depends on where the deal team loses time. BlueFlame AI suits a team buried in sourcing and diligence. Its agent screens inbound deals against the fund's criteria, reviews data room files and drafts the investment committee memo, drawing on Datasite data rooms and Grata's private company data. Endex suits a team buried in deliverables. An associate sends a task by email, Teams or Slack, and the agent updates the fund's model, memo or committee deck in the file itself. A firm that already runs its deals in Datasite will find BlueFlame inside its data rooms. What do BlueFlame AI and Endex do for an analyst or associate?

BlueFlame AI takes on the analyst work around a live deal. It builds public comps and precedent transaction screens, ranks buyers into an Excel ready log, answers buyer questions from data room content and compares bids side by side. Its Excel add in builds, audits and updates models from a sidebar, drafts an LBO from deal materials and checks inputs against data room documents. Endex takes on the files themselves. Its agents build operating models, prepare comparison sets and draft committee papers inside the firm's Excel, Word and PowerPoint files. Both take tasks by email, BlueFlame from Outlook and Endex alongside Teams and Slack. Graded by AI FinTech Index against the same capability axes from each vendor's own published materials, verified November 4, 2026. No vendor pays for placement.

How is output from BlueFlame AI and Endex checked before it reaches an investment committee?

BlueFlame AI builds pauses into the agent. Amp shows its work at each step and stops when it needs a person's judgment. Work sent from Outlook comes back ready for review, and BlueFlame says the team approves it before it moves forward. Answers trace back to their sources, and the platform keeps a full audit trail. Endex reviews after the work is done. Drafts cite their sources, audit logs track every interaction, and the web workspace shows what each agent did. No approval step is described before an Endex agent writes into a live file. Neither BlueFlame nor Endex describes a threshold that routes work to a person, and neither publishes an accuracy rate with a method. Graded by AI FinTech Index against the same capability axes from each vendor's own published materials, verified November 4, 2026. No vendor pays for placement.

Where do BlueFlame AI and Endex run, and what happens to deal data?

Both BlueFlame AI and Endex run as hosted services on Amazon Web Services with each client kept separate, and neither offers an on premises version. Endex keeps encryption keys in the customer's own cloud account and names no platform region. It says customer data trains no model by default, and its three model providers run under zero data retention. BlueFlame runs on multi zone infrastructure and offers data residency options. According to the AI FinTech Index, BlueFlame's subprocessor list names seven model and inference providers beside Amazon Web Services and Microsoft, and two of them, xAI and Mistral AI, serve only certain clients. Its security page rules out training on client data, though its privacy policy keeps an option to train its own models on user content. Endex names SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001:2022 with reports on request, and BlueFlame claims SOC 2 Type II with no report offered.

What do BlueFlame AI and Endex cost?

Neither BlueFlame AI nor Endex publishes a price, a plan or a seat rate. BlueFlame sells through a demo request. Since October 2026 it is also part of Grata Intelligence, whose packages are described by capability with no price. How BlueFlame is priced beside a Datasite data room contract is not stated. Endex also starts with a demo request or a sales contact. Its Excel add in is listed on Microsoft Marketplace as a trial, with full access on a paid license. For both, ask in writing whether the fee runs by seat, by task or by volume. Disclosure

Neither BlueFlame AI nor Endex publishes an accuracy rate with a stated method, or a commitment that stands behind a wrong figure in a memo or model. BlueFlame's product runs under a Master Services Agreement that is not public, and its website terms cap liability at the greater of $100 or three months of fees. Endex's product agreements are not public either, and its site terms cap liability at $100 for the website alone.

Neither states a regulatory position or a retention period for deal data. For BlueFlame, the questions to put in writing are whether the privacy policy's training clause reaches client content, which model providers serve your firm and on what retention terms, and what its SOC 2 report covers. For Endex, they are what an agent may change in a live file without sign off, how it chooses between two sources that disagree, and where the platform's data is hosted.
