Insurity launched Ratio Content and Rating Engine, an API first regulatory content and externalised rating engine for admitted commercial property and casualty carriers. It ingests machine readable bureau content from ISO, NCCI and AAIS, applies carrier specific deviations, and delivers rating, forms and stat code logic to downstream policy systems through a single API. Insurity says carriers can implement regulatory changes up to four times faster and rate complex commercial policies in seconds.
Our readBureau circulars are the reason commercial rating changes take quarters, because every carrier re keys the same ISO and NCCI content into its own engine. Externalising that into one API is the structural fix, and the vendor claim to test is the deviation layer: whether a carrier's own filed exceptions survive a bureau update without manual rework.
