Hebbia now integrates with Octus through the Octus MCP Connector, which links every Octus product a firm subscribes to into Hebbia at once. Credit teams can query Octus reporting and legal analysis, private company financials and capital structures, covenant and restructuring data, deal documents and court filings alongside their own deal history, with answers cited to the source.

Leveraged finance and private credit teams that already pay for Octus can run Hebbia analysis on credit data that public filings do not cover, in one question instead of searching each Octus product. Access follows the firm's existing Octus subscriptions.

Hebbia's October 2026 release adds memory to Max, its agent, which stores and recalls context across conversations under user controls and an org level admin switch, version history with rollback for decks and docs made in Max, and a Microsoft Word plugin for running workflows and drafting inside Word. Matrix columns can now run conditionally on a prior column's output, ICE market data extends to Tokyo Stock Exchange and ASX tickers, and Intralinks data room content and Dynamo pipeline documents now sync into Hebbia.

Deal and research teams can draft in Word and pull data room and CRM documents into analysis without exporting files. Memory stays off until an admin enables it, which matters for firms with strict information barriers.

Hebbia introduced Headless Hebbia, an API and MCP server that brings its retrieval, orchestration and analysis into firms' own applications and into assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT. Retrieval and analysis run step by step so developers can test a workflow and users can check findings against source material, the system maps relationships across sources such as subsidiaries and differently named filings, and it supplies evidence to each model call so applications can work over large collections with smaller context windows.

Banks and investment firms that want Hebbia's document analysis inside their own origination or research tools no longer have to work in Hebbia's interface. Access runs through Hebbia's sales team, and no public API documentation was published with the launch.

Hebbia released Matrix 2.0, a major upgrade to its flagship platform. Matrix now carries a workflow through to the finished deliverable, producing models, memos, decks and emails rather than stopping at extraction, and draws on a firm's deal history and internal systems alongside external data feeds. Every workflow includes a checkpoint where a person signs off before the next step runs.

Investment and credit teams can run one structured workflow across an entire portfolio or credit agreement library instead of prompting document by document. The sign off checkpoint and the traceability from any number back to its source are what make the output defensible in review, which is the gap most document AI leaves open.
