Candescent's developer changelog documents an MCP server that ships in beta inside its Forge CLI, so coding agents such as Cursor, Claude Code, VS Code, Codex and Gemini CLI can sign a developer in, call Digital Insight APIs, and build, preview and submit widgets and Aspects through chat. The server shares the developer's existing CLI session, and destructive or write operations ask for confirmation. The same release adds browser sign in to forge login.
Our readBanks and credit unions building extensions on Candescent's digital banking platform can drive API calls and widget submissions from the coding assistants their developers already use. The agent runs on the developer's own Forge sign in, so access control follows the institution's existing developer accounts.
